Brad the customer, was kind enough to
post a report on two gun forums when he
got it back, and agreed to us showing
that here -
I finally made it to the
range today with my "new" customize S&W
commander.
I put ~175 rds through it this afternoon.
It's a shooter!!!! Distance=30ft, ammo=Magtech
230gr FMJ, William's Catridge reloads,
& WWB 230gr FMJ. The new EGW ignition
system was crisp and light. The bobtail
really does feel nice in my hand and the
prototpye VZ grips were excellent while
shooting.
The grips are a little aggressive right
next to my skin while CCW so I may soften
the diamonds just a little.
Otherwise, the customization work Jess
did is excellent. All-in-all, I'm very
pleased with the pistol. I'll shoot it
tomorrow in our tactical matches, just
to get some more practice.
