While OnTarget is the natural choice for checkering, stippling and all other custom work on Hi Powers and 1911's - it is possible for people to consider sometimes being able to do some things themselves.

If you have reasonable basic metal-working skills and can use a hammer and punches properly, then this might be something you can tackle. It requires patience and care but the results can be most rewarding.
