is very competitive. Each and every firearm
is customized to meet the needs and desires
of the customer.
What this means is - that once you commit
to a project and the list of custom features
that will be added to the firearm, plus
an agreed price - we have entered a contract
for OnTarget Custom Gunworks to deliver
a very personalized and custom feature-rich
firearm to the customer, that we hope
will exceed the expectations.
We make every effort to communicate on
an ongoing basis with the customer and
what is our best guess as to when the
project will be completed. There are,
however, many factors that affect the
completion of a project. This can include
refinishing done by an outside supplier,
machine work that is being done by an
another shop, or special order parts that
are needed for the project. Therefore,
we can but make our best guess as to when
the project will be complete. And that
is all it is, a best guess. Sometimes
we get them done early, much of the time
we cannot due to the variables.
Once a price has been agreed and payment
sent for the work to be completed by OnTarget
Custom Gunworks, that money becomes non-refundable,
and is used to initially purchase the
parts and services that are needed to
complete the project such as machine work,
refinishing services and a wide assortment
of expenses. These custom firearms incur
a great deal of expense and time even
during the initial stages of a build.
We also ask that payment be made in full
for the complete price of the project
at the time the price has been agreed
and the chosen work agreed on. That does
not mean that changes cannot be made along
the way and adjustments to the project
as the needs or desires of the customer
may change during the course of the project.
You are not "locked in" by any means and
changes can certainly be made in the course
of completing a project.
OnTarget offers a 1 year warranty on workmanship,
parts and labor supplied by us. If you
are using a Caspian frame and slide, they
carry a lifetime warranty through OnTarget
and Caspian. As long as the firearm has
not been abused or shows obvious signs
of misuse or damage, then the warranty
will cover almost all issues at no charge
for the periods specified.
